Corpus Studio: +75% Organic Traffic for Architects

Corpus Studio is a respected architecture and design practice with a strong reputation — but a digital presence that didn't match it. As one of my earliest SEO projects, it became a proof point for a simple idea: when a great firm is invisible online, the fix is structural, not cosmetic. Within three months, organic traffic grew +75% and lead generation +40%.

The results

  • +75% organic traffic from architecture-related searches in three months
  • +40% lead generation through the website
  • First-page Google rankings for multiple industry keywords
  • An authority profile of ~270 backlinks across ~48 referring domains — including editorial mentions in ELLE Decor, Architectural Digest, Dwell, Living Etc and Remodelista

The challenge: a great firm, a weak digital presence

Corpus Studio blends aesthetics and functionality at a high level, yet the website wasn't pulling traffic or converting visitors into leads. Great business, weak digital footprint — the site's structure and on-page foundation simply weren't built to be found.

The key bottlenecks:

  • Technical issues slowing crawling and indexation
  • No targeted keyword strategy for the architecture niche
  • Thin content and an unclear site structure
  • Navigation and CTAs that didn't guide visitors to enquire

About Corpus Studio

Corpus Studio is an architecture, interiors and design practice based in Paris, working locally in France and on projects abroad.

My approach

No guesswork — a proven framework applied to a niche audience. I started with a full technical and on-page audit, built a keyword strategy around how people actually search for architecture and interiors, and paired it with content, UX and authority work so visibility turned into enquiries.

From strategy to result, step by step

Phase 1 — Foundation & structure

I ran a comprehensive SEO audit and fixed the technical issues slowing search engines down, then optimised on-page elements — meta tags, image optimisation and internal linking — so the site performed like a well-structured machine.

Phase 2 — Content & keyword strategy

I found untapped, high-value keywords in the architecture niche and integrated them across service pages and a tailored blog content plan, with a content calendar to keep the site fresh and relevant to Corpus Studio's ideal client.

Phase 3 — Technical optimisation

I tightened crawlability and site structure, improved internal linking, and resolved the on-page issues that were capping rankings — giving both users and search engines a cleaner path through the site.

Phase 4 — Authority & positioning

Architecture and design is a press-rich niche, so I focused on earning links that signal genuine authority. The profile grew to roughly 270 backlinks across ~48 referring domains, with editorial mentions in leading design and architecture publications — ELLE Decor, Architectural Digest, Dwell, Living Etc, Remodelista and Design Milk among them — positioning Corpus Studio as a credible name in its field. I also kept the profile healthy, monitoring for the spam and PBN links that inevitably target a rising site.

Phase 5 — Conversion & UX

Traffic only matters if it converts. I simplified navigation and sharpened CTAs so every visitor knew the next step, lifting lead generation by 40%.

Phase 6 — Results & impact

Within three months Corpus Studio saw a 75% increase in organic traffic, first-page rankings for several industry terms, and a 40% increase in qualified leads — turning a beautiful but quiet website into a visible, lead-generating asset. The site remains live, indexed and ranking.

The future

With the foundation, content and authority in place, the next steps are deepening topical coverage across Corpus Studio's specialisms and continuing to earn high-authority design-press links — compounding the firm's position as a go-to architecture and interiors studio.
